At the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM), we are passionate about fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals and empowering them to embrace the transformative field of Lifestyle Medicine. As part of our commitment, we are proud to offer the Student & Early Career CPD Support (CPDS) Program, providing students and early career practitioners with the opportunity to attend the 2026 Lifestyle Medicine Conference.

About the Program

The CPDS Program has been designed to support aspiring health professionals by equipping them with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration needed to excel in Lifestyle Medicine. By attending the Conference, students and early career practitioners will gain access to leading experts, practical insights for their future careers, and a passionate community of professionals dedicated to redefining healthcare.

Scholarship Inclusions and Benefits

INCLUSIONS
The CPDS Program covers the registration cost for one LM26 Conference ticket, which includes:
  • Full 3-day conference registration (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
  • Welcome Gathering
Please note, tickets to the Celebration Dinner and accommodation are not included. Accommodation can be booked here.

Apply for a Scholarship​

Applications are now open to students and early career health care professionals from all disciplines, that can lead to Practitioner Membership, who are eager to make a meaningful impact in preventing, managing, and reversing chronic disease through Lifestyle Medicine.

Priority will be given to students who:

  1. Exhibit a strong commitment to advancing Lifestyle Medicine.
  2. Demonstrate financial need, where applicable.
  3. Plan to practice in underserved or rural communities.

Eligibility Criteria
  1. Enrolment Status: Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate students or demonstrate career stage (e.g. PGY 1-3) at the time of application.
  2. Field of Study: Applicants must be studying or beginning their career in a health-related field that qualifies for future Practitioner Membership of ASLM, such as medicine, nursing, allied health, or other relevant disciplines.
  3. Interest in Lifestyle Medicine: Applicants should demonstrate a clear interest in Lifestyle Medicine and its application in their future practice.
Application Deadlines
  • Applications are now open
  • Deadlines: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all CPDS’ have been allocated, with priority given to early submissions.
Selection Process
  1. Application Submission: Applicants must submit an application form (link below) including the following:
    • A brief statement (250 words) outlining their interest in Lifestyle Medicine, how they plan to incorporate it into their career, and why attending the Conference will benefit their education.
    • Proof of enrolment in a qualifying undergraduate program or workplace.
  2. Review: Applications will be reviewed by a panel of ASLM representatives to ensure eligibility and alignment with the purpose of the CPDS program.
