An introduction to Lifestyle Medicine and planetary health

Held live on 2 March 2022, this webinar was designed for medical and health professional students. It provided attendees with an introduction to Lifestyle Medicine and how diet, physical activity, sleep, stress management, social connectedness and other factors can be used to prevent, treat and reverse chronic and lifestyle-related diseases.

Dr Nicole Sleeman (General Practitioner and Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician) presented on what Lifestyle Medicine means to her and the important intersection between Lifestyle Medicine and planetary health.

This webinar also explored the different pathways through which students can learn more about Lifestyle Medicine and get involved in the ASLM student movement for change.
