As we head to the end of the year, are you feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or burnt out?
Burnout is an ever-growing concern among health professionals, impacting personal well-being and professional performance. Join Vanita Smith, a Health & Wellbeing Strategist, Facilitator, Coach, and ASLM Fellow, for an essential webinar exploring practical solutions to this pervasive issue.
This session will delve into the key distinctions between exhaustion and burnout, uncover the underlying causes of burnout in healthcare settings, and provide actionable strategies to help you recognise and address these challenges. By applying principles of Lifestyle Medicine, you’ll discover new approaches to support your well-being and reclaim balance in both your professional and personal life.
During the session, you will also have the opportunity to experience a somatic practice of Non-Sleep Deep Rest. This autogenic body practice is based on an evidence-based protocol and is designed to help you slow down and rest.
To fully engage in this practice, you’ll need a comfortable space to lie down and a blanket (for warmth), a pillow for your head, and an additional pillow or rolled towel to support your knees.
Empower yourself with tools to manage burnout and continue delivering exceptional care to your patients.
In this webinar you will learn:
