Kate Baggerson is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Everybody NOW!, a national, not-for-profit arts organisation, based on the Gold Coast, specialising in community-engaged, participatory arts projects, created with and for communities.
For over a decade, under Kate’s leadership, Everybody NOW! has championed community-based storytelling, intergenerational participation, and an arts-led approach to nurturing and building connection, belonging, wellbeing and social cohesion.
They’ve reached over 76,000 people in 250+ communities across Australia, aged between 3-100 years young. In 2024, Everybody NOW! were awarded a PAC Australia National Impact Award recognising their leadership and best-practice in creating lasting impact with communities through the performing arts.
Everybody NOW! work in schools, aged-care, hospitals, galleries, theatres, parks, festivals and halls in big cities and regional and remote communities. Their unique brand of thoughtful, playful, joyful and inclusive art-making has resulted in strong evidence-based impacts to improving the lives of their collaborating communities.
Kate’s leadership is focused around building positive cross-sector relationships that aspire to happier, healthier, more connected communities, with the arts as a central tenet of our lives.
