Lifestyle Medicine 2024 will be taking place Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 July 2024 in Adelaide, Australia as part of the Essential Health Summit and will focus on the central theme of:

The Essential Health Summit, combining the Lifestyle Medicine 2024 conference and the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association’s (APNA) Festival of Nursing, will provide three days of dynamic presentations, interactive workshops and inspiring talks.
The Essential Health Summit will also play host to the inaugural, Primary Health Care Congress which will bring together leaders from across primary health care.
Hear from renowned speakers, take part in insightful discussions covering the latest developments in health and Lifestyle Medicine, and explore cutting-edge products and services from exhibitors in the healthcare and the Lifestyle Medicine industry.

Earn CPD Hours and FASLM Points at the Lifestyle Medicine 2024 Conference
The Lifestyle Medicine 2024 Conference, as part of the Essential Health Summit, is an RACGP, AMA CPD Home, and ACCRM CPD approved activity.
Delegates will earn 22 CPD hours for Education Activities and 2 CPD hours for Reviewing Performance.
Additionally, those undertaking the ASLM Fellowship will receive 96 FASLM points.

Lily Henderson is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian and has over 15 years of experience working in public health nutrition. She has worked in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand with a wide range of population groups.
Her expertise includes food and nutrition communications, policy development, stakeholder engagement, program implementation, research and evaluation. Lily is an ASLM Board member and chair of the NZ working group.
When it comes to eating for optimal health, Lily is passionate about
unpacking the science and providing credible, evidenced-based advice. She aspires to translate the evidence into meaningful lifestyle messages for individuals and populations.

Shivaun is an Executive Health Coach, Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD), Accredited Nutritionist (AN), Health Presenter, University of Sydney Honours graduate (Bachelor of Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) Honours), director of Accredited Health Coaching Australia, professional member of Dietitians Australia (DA) and Health Coaches Australia New Zealand (HCANZA), and previous Vice President of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine (ASLM).
Shivaun has a passion and drive for helping her clients improve their quality of life through their health and lifestyle goals. She has 20 years of experience supporting people to achieve optimal health, with a particular focus on executive health and performance.
Shivaun is also a founder and director of Accredited Health Coaching Australia, a company that delivers health coaching and health behaviour change courses.

Sharon Curtain is a HCANZA Certified Health Coach and Accredited Dietitian with twenty five years experience spanning across education, clinical and corporate nutrition. Sharon is passionate about training health professionals and all health workers in the skills of health behaviour change, and advocating for health coach training and recognition in Australia. She developed, wrote and taught the nationally recognised Diploma of Health Coaching, and is a VET Certified Trainer and Assessor and trained facilitator.
Sharon lectures at James Cook University in the Lifestyle Medicine courses, is an Advanced Nutrition course mentor for Ulleo, and is a Professional Member and Board Member of Health Coaches Australia & New Zealand Association (HCANZA). Sharon currently delivers online health coaching training courses to health professionals and non health professionals via Accredited Health Coaching Australia.

Clara has been working as a general practitioner for 15 years. She has always had an interest in preventative health care, and when she discovered lifestyle medicine, she found a renewed sense of purpose and joy in her work. She completed her International Board of Lifestyle Medicine Certification in 2020 and became a Fellow of ASLM in 2022. She is also a Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA) accredited health coach. She now combines her passion for proactive health care with health coaching in her work in general practice and in providing comprehensive health assessments to corporate executives.

Graduating from Deakin University in 2013, Dr Garnier has completed specialist training in both General Practice and Lifestyle Medicine as well as Health Coaching. She now has an established adult based practice in bayside Melbourne specialising in women’s health, chronic disease and preventative health where she enjoys applying the full breadth of her experience and specialist training. When she is not working, she is dreaming of walking her next Camino, cuddling a Golden Retriever or trying to improve her abysmal golf handicap.
