The ASLM Fellowship is the first fully multidisciplinary fellowship in Australasia, and represents the highest level of expertise and peer recognition available to health professionals in the field of Lifestyle Medicine.

ASLM Fellowship grandparenting period FINAL information session

he ASLM Fellowship is the first fully multidisciplinary fellowship in Australasia, and represents the highest level of expertise and peer recognition available to health professionals in the field of Lifestyle Medicine. The introduction of the ASLM Fellowship in March 2016 was accompanied by a grandparenting period, during which time RPL provisions are more generous. These provisions and requirements were reviewed and amended by the Board on 1 July 2019, and again on 30 June 2020. Grandparenting under the current provisions is due to end on 30 June 2021, and no further extensions will be granted.

Eligible candidates interested in pursuing Fellowship with ASLM are therefore encouraged to submit a formal RPL application prior to the 30 June 2021 deadline. Note that candidates do not need to have completed the full Fellowship by 30 June 2021, but merely must have submitted their formal RPL application by this date to benefit from the current, more generous provisions.

This webinar will cover the following FAQs:

  • Am I eligible to pursue Fellowship with ASLM?
  • How I can save time and money by applying before the grandparenting period ends on 30 June 2021?
  • What are the requirements for Fellowship?
  • How do I earn Fellowship points, and can I apply for recognition of prior learning?
  • How do I submit a formal application?
  • What kind of supporting documentation do I need to provide?
  • What if I am unsure if I want to apply?
  • What are the costs involved?
